Tour Series #3 — Gettysburg Links

Soggy conditions existed at Gettysburg Links caused by an inch of rainfall the night before plus the 5 inches of rain through the previous week.  Even though some sand bunkers were unplayable, and some fairways had standing water, the overall conditions at Gettysburg Links were decent and playable.  Kwang Yim and Bob Ingram were able to take advantage of the soft conditions and both shot a net 68.  In third place with a net 75 was Gary Boukis, a last minute entry and current 2017 Knucklehead Big Dog. Fourth place were shared by three golfers; Gill Nichols, Brian Murphy, and Marty Sadowski.

The par 3-s were difficult to master as the pins were placed near the corners of the green.  Greg Muolo nailed the downhill par 3 #3 hole, Brian Duffy mastered the short #6 par 3, John Hassett hit a beautiful 6 iron to hole #12 par 3, and Bob Ingram squeezed inside of John Braun on hole #15.

For the CLEARS, there were many of them and again master CLEARER Brian Murphy had the most with three of them.  Greg Muolo, Bob Ingram, and Brian Duffy had two each. Gary Boukis, Marty Sadowski, Kang Lee, and John Hassett had one each.
