Sorry about the lateness but some recent power outages caused loss of some good editorial work. Also sorry about the noise at Jake’s Tavern but it was the most optimal place to rendezvous. On the other hand the food was very generous.
So let’s review. Last year’s 2023 Tour Series ended with a two-way tie between Greg Muolo and Jerome Lyons. Here were their total points from last year ;

According to Knucklehead by-laws if an overall tie for first place in the Tour Series final standings, then a 3 hole aggregate playoff (like in British Open) with net scores. Then if still tied then single hole playoff until a winner is decided.
A quick summary of the playoff round saw Jerome gained a quick advantage on the first hole with a par / net birdie as Greg 3 putted the first hole to end up with a bogey / net par. Greg evened the playoff as he scored a bogey / net par on the difficult uphill 398 yard second hole while Jerome chunked his initial chip and ended with a net bogey. On the third hole Jerome had an opportunity to grab the win but his 25 foot birdie putt just stayed out to the right and both golfers finished with a par / net birdie.
Since each golfer was a net -1 after three holes, then following holes will be a sudden death playoff. First hole was the par 3 #4 hole in which Greg flared his hybrid to the right of the green ending up in the sand bunker. Jerome’s iron shot sailed over the bunker and bounced to the right. Jerome made a nice recovery pitch shot placing the ball about 10 feet above the pin. Greg’s also made a nice bunker splash shot leaving himself a 20 footer uphill putt. Greg made an aggressive putt and drained the putt for a par. Jerome’s downhill putt just grazed the left side of the cup as it failed to make the anticipated break and ended with a bogey. Thus Greg Muolo was declared as the office 2023 Tour Series winner.
Back to the Tour series event at Rocky Point, finally a breakthrough of the rain clouds led to a comfortable day of golf. And Andy Weston-Dawkes took advantage of the conditions and shot a smoot 88 net 73 to capture first place. Two shots out of first were several golfers of Greg Muolo, Mike Ciangaleni, and Greg Sadowski all with a net 75. Fortunately with the increase number of participants there was a fifth place prize (although relatively small) and that was shared by Bob Ingram, Paul Tornabene, Brian Duffy, and Jerome Lyons all shooting a net 76.
In the CTP arena, John Braun used an easy 5 hybrid to capture the first CTP on the 172 yard 4th hole. Grgeg Muolo ripped a 7-iron to capture CTP on the 146 yard #7 hole. Bob Ingram used a knockdown 9-iron to capture CTP on the downhill #11 hole. Mike Ciangaleni smoked a 7-iron to capture CTP on the long 177 yard #14 hole.
Michael Jan started the CLEARS parade with a nice birdie on the 360 yard par 4 first hole. John Braun made a nice birdie on the par 3 172 yard 4th hole for a CLEAR. Gill Nichols made a sweet birdie on the par 5 12th hole to capture a CLEAR. By the way, welcome back Gill. Dick Markle made a birdie on the 177 yard par 3 14th hole to capture a CLEAR there. Mike Reidy drained a birdie putt on the gettable downhill par 5 16th hole for his CLEAR. John Braun made a nice par on the uphill 17th hole for his second CLEAR And then John followed it up with a super nice par on the treacherous 18th hole to capture his third CLEAR. Nice finish John.
Kudos out to Michael Jan for finishing the 18th hole as he five putted the green making many people grateful for just four putting the extremely tilted 18th green – – including Bob Ingram.
