It was a cool and somewhat damp day at PB Dye course for the sixth Tour series event.  Even though the participation was small there was plenty of excitement.

We had Greg Muolo putt a 55 foot bomb (just 5 feet short of a LAP) on hole #17 to finish with a net 76.  Bob Ingram got plenty assistance from Michael Jan on reading his putts in route to a net 76 also.  And Jerome Lyons was walking, running, and sprinting his way to a net 76 also for a three-way tie for first place. Michael Jan offered the most excitement as he drove the #10 green and had a realistic chance for an eagle with a $25 payout from each person with only a 30 foot putt remaining.  Unfortunately he three putted and finished out of the money by three strokes.

The CTP was captured by Bob Ingram on the peninsula green #11 (shown in picture) by a stride over Jerome Lyons tee shot.

Greg Muolo took over the Murphy throne as he garnered two CLEARS with birdies on #10 hole and on the par 5 #17 hole. Bob Ingram also had two CLEARS with pars on hole #6 and a par on the par 5 #12 hole. Brian Duffy captured a CLEAR on the par 5 hole #7 with a birdie. Michael Jan christened his initiation event with a birdie on hole #4 for his first CLEAR.

Next event for Tour series will be the practice round of the Knucklehead Open at the GOLD course of Golden Horseshoe in Williamsburg on Monday Sept 21. For this event we will be using the POINTS system.

The FINALE for the Tour series is scheduled for Queenstown Lakes course either Oct 17, 24, or 31 TBD.
