Bob and Kwang was at Westwood Golf Course for the Virginia Edition of Senior 4Ball Championship. Somehow the team was a second alternate in the field and again somehow they got the call to play. So they competed in the field of senior elites.

With the Perry CabinĀ  experience just year ago still fresh in their minds, where the duo was DFL (Dead F’ Last) and was also beaten badly by a duo from Leisure World (A retirement community in MD with 2 opponents who couldn’t hit over 200 yards.), this event was a chance of redemption. Coming in DFL in this event would scar the duo forever and the duo was determined not to be DFL. Fortunately, there were no team from the Leisure World or any retirement community players in the field.

Day 1, Bob Ingram stepped up and took over the team. He was able to carry the duo about 15 holes and Kwang had no answer to contribute to better team scores. Standing after day 1 was 3 teams above DFL.

Day 2. Bob Ingram had a rough night apparently and forgot how to golf. Fortunately, Kwang was able to step up and carried the duo strongly with 2 birdies in the first 8 holes. Limping along and grinding then came the hole that broke the camel’s back. A simple par 3 the duo double bogied the hole. Both hit poor tee shots, unable to get on the green twice and 2 putted for a bogie 5. A true disaster of a hole.

The End result of the competition was duo avoided the humiliation of Perry Cabin and Leisure World fiasco but came up next to DFL. (One other team withdrew so 2 teams above DFL).

IN THE END THOUGH, A GREAT EXPERIENCE FOR TWO KNUCKLEHEADS!
