Tour series #4 — Carroll Valley results
Thanks again to all who made the event so close to the previous rescheduled event in Pa. It was befitting that the course at Carroll Valley had slight damage to the extra amount of rains we had this summer. And it was also befitting that we experienced a heavy thunderstorm deluge during the round on Saturday for a couple of holes. But all in all, the weather and course were decent and the greens were challenging. However, not challenging enough for Kwang Yim as he romped his way to a runaway victory with a net 64; gross 77. Finishing a distant second was Marty Sadowski with a net 68. Total scores are listed below.
Kwang started the round with a good start by capturing the CTP on hole #3. Gill Nichols finished the round by capturing the ctp at the poolside #18 hole.
The CLEARS were gobbled up by Brian Duffy and Kwang Yim who had two each, with the remaining morsel of CLEARS going to Bob Ingram, Greg Muolo, and Marty Sadowski with one each.
NOTE there is no mention of Brian Murphy in the prizes, ctps, or even the CLEARS. He actually did play in the event but had a disastrous 69 (almost double par) on the back nine holes. However he still maintains his fifth place in the Tour Standings.
