BRIDGES Results
Bridges golf course offered somewhat dry conditions for the opening event of the Knucklehead 2023 Tour series. Michael Jan was on a roll as his play was steady & strong and eliminated the high scores. A net birdie on the par 4 13th hole and dialing in with his 8 iron on the first par three for the first CTP of the year was also helpful. Dick Markle was also steady in his play in the first event as rolled in with a net 74. Finishing in a close third place was Greg Muolo with a net 75. And rounding out the top four place prizes was Bob Ingram with a net 76.
Brian Duffy captured the second CTP with a 6 iron to the 7th hole. Andy Weston-Dawkes smoked a 5-iron to 5 feet of the pin on the 11th hole to capture the third CTP. John Braun hit a smooth 3 iron to the pin on 16th hole to capture the final CTP.
CLEARs were very limited in the first event of the year. Bob Ingram started off the CLEARs with a nice net birdie on the 3rd hole. Bruce Grau was able to squeeze a net birdie on the 7th hole for claim a CLEAR. And as mentioned above Michael Jan had the only CLEAR on the back nine.
Everybody seemed to enjoy themselves at the Green Horizon Grill for a post round food & drinks. The place also was sparkled with some Kentucky Derby ladies.
