Tour Series #6 — PB Dye results

From months of rain during the summer plus additional two heavy days of rain prior to PB Dye event, the course played soggy & slushy. Jerome waited until the greens were drier on the back side and went on a birdie binge.  He birdied the 16th hole after hitting his 130 yard approach shot off the railroad ties and then ricocheting off the wooden stairs up to 10 feet from the pin.  He birdied hole #17 by delicately hitting his pitch to within 2 feet from the hole.    Jerome’s net 68 squeaked out a one stroke victory over Bob Ingram’s net 69.   Just two shots from the money was Dick Markle’s net 71.

Dick Markle made up that difference by capturing both the CTPs by placing his tee shot on the same level as the pins were located including the semi-island green hole #11 as pictured.

Cleaning up the CLEARS was Jerome with three of them; all of them birdies.  Dick Markle, Bob Ingram, Kwang Yim, and Brian Duffy had a CLEAR each.
