Heritage Hills Results
Good weather greeted the Knucklehead group at Heritage Hills on the first Saturday in October. Also Heritage Hill revamped their driving range to a much improved layout. The greens were rolling true at Heritage Hills. All factors setup for a good round of golfing.
Brian Duffy rose to that pinnacle of a good round of golf with a net par finish of 71; gross 81 to capture first place. Close on his heels was John Hassett with a net 72. In third place was Jerome Lyons with a net 74. Finishing out the top four was Bob Ingram with a net 78.
Brian Duffy started the CTP captures with a rescue 6 on the downhill 155 yard par 3 #5 hole. There was a tie for CTP on the 160 yard #8 hole between Jeff Gruel’s 5 hybrid and Jerome Lyon’s 8-iron. On the back side Jeff Gruel smoked his Driver on the windy 175 yard #12 hole to capture that CTP. And no one was on the green for the #15 hole.
On the CLEARs it was John Hassett who cleaned up in that arena. John Hassett had a net birdie on the 160 yard par 3 #8 hole, had an actual super birdie on the 412 yard #9 hole (pictured above), along with another net birdie on the 175 yard par 3 #12 hole, and an actual birdie on the downhill 330 yard #16 hole. Jeff Gruel had a sweet birdie on the 2 handicap 425 yard #3 hole to capture a CLEAR. Bob Ingram grad a CLEAR on the par 5 501 yard #8 hole with a birdie. Greg Muolo made a nice par on the 329 yard #10 hole to capture a CLEAR there. Brian Murphy pitched in a 85 yard shot for a birdie on the 373 yard #14 hole for a solid CLEAR. Jerome Lyons made a nice up and down on the 187 yard par 3 #15 hole for a net birdie and a CLEAR. Kwang Yim finished the CLEARs with a nice par/net birdie on the 345 yard #17 hole.
Overall the course was in good shape, patio was active, and prizes were abundant.
