Jerome Lyons takes total control of the 2021 Tour Series Championship.

Going in to the final double point round at Heritage Hills, he had a commanding 10 points lead over other knuckleheads. And unless he skips the finale or play so poorly that he gets less than 20 points, his championship was more than secure. So since he showed up focused and ready to go, the race was on for the 2nd through 5th place finish.

Indeed the battle for the 2nd thru 5th place got more interesting when Bob Ingram (a strong 2nd place standing) dropped out of the finale because he wanted to go on a nice vacation with his lovely wife to a spectacular place called Akron, Ohio. Further more other Tour Series competitor Greg Muolo was sidelined with Achilles heel doing too much Bachata in dance halls and Gill Nichols wasn’t feeling his usual self so he decided to skip the finale.

This meant that other competitors all moved up at least one spot in rankings and further there are 3 competitors not able to garner tour series points to compete for 2nd thru 5th spots.

A strong run by say Dick, Bruce, or Kwang could alter the standings drastically.

Brian Duffy was in 2nd place and played just well enough to hold on to the 2nd place.  The biggest mover was Kwang Yim (who was in 7th spot). His superior play and not so superior plays from Dick and Bruce allowed Kwang to jump in to 3rd place tie with Bruce Grau. Dick Markle falls from 4th place to 5th place earning him the super prize of 10 whole dollars.  You can see the full results HERE.

All in all, everyone had a great time and again a great 2021 Tour Series managed by our own Bog Ingram.

Congratulations to Jerome and all other winners and a big thanks to Bob Ingram.

WE Look forward to more participation in 2022 Knucklehead Tour Series.

Well Knuckleheads. That’s a wrap. Have a wonderful and safe winter. See you all next year!
